Yield Tiny DiV ("the App") is an iOS app for looking up dividend yields and calculating investment income for Korean and US-listed stocks. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The App does not require account registration or login, and does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, or contact details. The only information sent to our servers is the ticker symbol you search for. No personal data is included in these requests.
The App stores the following preferences locally on your device (via iOS SharedPreferences) and never transmits them to our servers: • Language selection (Korean / English) • Exchange rate period setting (Latest / 3M / 6M / 1Y) • Last viewed ticker symbol and market (used to restore the previous screen on relaunch) All stored data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
The App includes a long-press share feature that captures the calculator screen as an image. If you choose "Save Image" in the share sheet, iOS will request permission to access your Photo Library. This permission is used solely to save the captured image to your device's Photos app. No image data is transmitted to our servers. You may decline this permission and still share the image to other apps.
The App connects to our servers (yieldtiny.com) over HTTPS solely to retrieve dividend and stock price data. No personal information is included in these requests. Server access logs (IP address, request timestamp) are retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes, then automatically deleted.
Yield Tiny DiV does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because we perform no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
The App loads stock logo images from the following third-party CDNs: • AlphaSquare (alphasquare.co.kr) — Korean stock logos • Parqet (parqet.com) — US stock logos • Financial Modeling Prep (financialmodelingprep.com) — fallback logos When a stock logo is displayed, your device's IP address may be transmitted to these services solely to retrieve the image. The App does not include any advertising or analytics SDKs.
All dividend data and calculations are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice. Actual dividend payments may differ. All investment decisions are made at your own risk.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in applicable law or the App's features. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
